National Physique Committee athletes and fans will travel to Agua Caliente Resort Casino on June 19, in Rancho Mirage, CA, for the NPC West Coast Classic
RANCHO MIRAGE, CA (May 25, 2021) – The NPC West Coast Classic is a bodybuilding competition sanctioned by the National Physique Committee. It has become a must-do event over the last 22 years for amateur fitness athletes of all levels in Southern California. For the first time, this event will occur in Rancho Mirage, CA, at the stunning Agua Caliente Casino Resort on June 19. After a challenging 2020 for NPC athletes and fans, the Southern California fitness community welcomes the news that this longstanding event will continue with 100% occupancy.
“The NPC West Coast Classic has something for everyone. Whether you want to get motivated to start going to the gym, get a little more fit, or if you are a die-hard bodybuilding fan, you will leave inspired,” said Lonnie Teper. Teper is the founder of NPC West Coast Classic, well-known Bodybuilding industry MC, and columnist.
The sport of bodybuilding includes competitions for various body types, encouraging people of all ages and builds to get in the best shape of their life and showcase their hard work on stage in front of friends, family, and fans. The categories are bikini, figure, men’s physique, men’s bodybuilding, classic physique, women’s physique, wellness, and fitness. Many categories have the desirable GQ, Men’s Health, or a Sports Illustrated Bikini model look and the well-known “massive muscle” features of the bodybuilding division. One can’t help but become motivated after seeing how a few months of dedication to health and fitness can transform any physique!
After a tough 2020 with gyms closed and limited bodybuilding competitions, athletes deserve a first-class experience and destination to reward all their hard work,” said Chris Minnes, co-owner of NPC West Coast Classic and founder of Center Podium Productions.
Two hundred seventy-five athletes will bring their best physique across eight different divisions and 69 classes with athletes as young as 18 or as old as 80! A packed audience will reward the athletes’ hard work, a rare treat of normalcy since before the pandemic began. They are competing for a national level qualification for a chance to become an IFBB Professional athlete.
Attendees will also get the chance to visit over 20 fitness vendors who will share their latest products and services. The products can help anyone achieve their health and fitness goals from simply dropping a pant size or becoming a star on the bodybuilding stage. There will be companies with options for nutrition, gyms, personal training, fitness apparel, workout recovery, supplements, bikinis, jewelry, and massage guns!
